Does anyone know the names of any of the overseas control line publications or magazines?

Thank you

Mike

Mike , good morning from a sunny Charente in S.W.France.

The only British modelling magazine I know that might be suitable is AVIATION MODELLER INTERNATIONAL , published in the U.K by Model Activity Press.

A.M.I is a monthly and it absorbed a few years ago the famous AEROMODELLER magazine.
Part of AMI has an 'Aeromodeller' section devoted to C/L , Free Flight etc.

Suggest you 'google' Aviation Modeller International and you'll find it on the M.A.P web-site.

Here in France there is no dedicated C/L mag. Very sad !

Hope this helps ,

Robin [ ex-pat Brit in the Charente full of ex-pat Brits ]

Mike, I don't believe that there is one.

As Robin said, Aviation Modeller International features control line from time to time. Also, the English RC magazine RCM&E, FC Model Aeroplane in the US, has featured a couple of CL free plans over the last year and they have been very well received by the readership.

The free plans that come with the magazine are often suitable for conversion to CL without a lot of work but back to your question, I don't believe that there is one.

Cheers, Geoff

Geoff and Robin

Thank you very much for your replies.  I had not idea what was available as far as publications in Europe.  Sadly it seems there is not much.  I appreciate the time you took to reply to me.

Hello Mike,
We have our own Control Line newsletter that you can find here: http://www.u-control.com.ar/
and a monthly magazine (not exclusively CL related): http://www.el-aeromodelista.com.ar/
Both in Spanish, of course. Hope you find them useful.

Regards,
Claudio.

Hi All,
There is Australian Control Line News (ACLN), more a newsletter than a magazine, but has some very good articles.

To contact the editor, Harry Bailey, please send me PM and I will let you know his e-mail address.

Regards,
           Peter Anglberger
