On my way out the door to visit my Mom. She's 87 and not doing as well as we would like but hanging in there. My Mom raised 9 kids all by herself after my Dad passed away suddenly when I was 10 years old. She worked in a hat factory during WW-2 and they made bomb and cargo parachutes for the war effort, and every now and then she would make us some out of old scarves and such. She put up with all the dope smell and engine noise when we discovered model airplanes, and the noise from our dirt bikes when we got into those, because she figured we were at home doing something that occupied our minds and were not out running the streets. She is definitely a special lady and has a place waiting for her in Heaven! She didn't kill me when I used her oven to heat the engine cases of my 100 Penton so I could change the crank bearings!

She just told me that next time, use the gas BBQ pit! She was much smarter than me!
Happy Mothers Day to ALL!
