Title: OT but way cool!

Here is a link to a guy building something remarkable.

I wonder if this would qualify for semi-scale stunt?

I bet that'll be fun to fly!  Reminds me of the 1938 Short S31, a half-scale model of the projected Short Stirling bomber: it had four Pobjoy Niagara radials, spanned about fifty feet and was, as far as I can tell, a single-seater.  By all accounts it flew beautifully but had too long a take-off run, which is why the Stirling ended up with such a weird, ungainly undercarriage - the only way they could think of to increase the angle of attack when it was on the ground.

I've seen this before courtesy of Tom Wilk and Clancy Arnold.   It is quite an undertaking.  Now my question will be put on the debate forum.
