What puzzles me is how a flight of 1 mile in length x 1,800' altitude would "prove" the earth is flat. "They" obviously don't believe photographic evidence. If "Mad Mike" was to make a flight of 25,000 miles and land in the same place, that would prove his theory incorrect, but he's not trying to do that, is he? I do like the paint scheme of his steam powered rocket, and I like steam as a potent power source for stunt models.  VD~ Steve

Amazing that there are people that can't believe all the films and live broadcasts from our space travelers.   Anybody got his Stupid sign ready?

He painted it with Rustoleum, so it will be fuel proof if it comes in contact with any kind of alcohol, which seems likely based on the rest of the story. I suspect PT Barnum would be proud of this fellow.

I'm with Motorman on this one!

I think this guy is probably just a clown dancing for money and laughing his A$$ off at the people giving him money.

The real surprise here is that anyone could be stupid enough to believe in someone who thinks the Earth is flat!

After all an Italian Guy and a Spanish Lady knew better than that over 500 years ago!   LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~

Probably saw on the internet someplace that the earth was really flat.

Some people are so gullible they will believe anything!

I don't know why a rocket is necessary, I can get to 1800' by taking a ski lift or a couple hour hike.....
