I spent some time there in summer 1969....not quite the varied aircraft, but still plenty of different types....

Really cool video!
I remember flying to England in 1984 to my fist USAF assignment.  We flew into RAF Mildenhall in a Cattle car 707 (all coach). Busy airport just like that, military acft. and charter airliners. We were then herded on buses and sent to our bases (RAF Fairford).

Can anyone name all the aircraft types? I gave up after about a dozen.

What is surprising is that the military was still using DC-3, DC6, DC7 at that time.  And I thought they were all in the boneyard.

We built that first class airport, only to give it away!
