OT and Classic list?
« on: August 24, 2007, 11:33:21 AM »
Is there an online list somewhere that lists all the known Old Time and Classic designs? I can't find one. ???

There are probably other lists, but probably the most inclusive/exhaustive lists for OTS and Classic have been put together by Dave Day on his site at

http://www.iroquois.free-online.co.uk/cl.htm

According to his this site, there are 463 OTS designs and 432 Classic designs listed.

(One thing that makes these lists interesting is that there are still more of these designs to be found.)

Besides theses lists, there is a lot of other good stuff on that site.  Dave Day has received far too little recognition for the material he has compiled.

Does Dave's list go by the U.K.'s rules which might be different from ours (US)?

I have known of Dave and his list for years.  But I was NOT aware that his OTS list, and his Classic list, is for U.S. rules....................  There is a difference "across the pond" as to what the breakdowns for classes are.

Thanks for the definitive answer.

Stiil I think Dave *might* be a few shy of ALL KNOWN designs.  I fully appreciate Dave's efforts!  A great historian. y1
