Franklin Mint Wild Bette/Fearless Dick P47D
« on: September 07, 2016, 05:58:13 PM »
Gentlemen,
I'm looking to procure a Franklin Mint Wild Bette/Fearless Dick Die Cast P47D to use as a guide for the paint scheme, nomenclature etc. for my next Werwedge P47.  For what its worth, my current version is the Margie II from the same squadron.  Could anyone who has any info on where I might get one please PM me.  I've tried a couple of times to secure one on Ebay and seem to always be outbid right at the last second.

Regards,

 How about this...

Instead of bothering with trying to find the Franklin Mint piece just order this 1/48th scale decal set from Squadron. These are very accurate and high quality decal sets for plastic modeling and typically come with multi-view info to aid in the proper placement. On top of all that you then have something that can be scanned and resized as needed for creating the masks and/or graphics for your model.

The two web sites listed below are both worth a visit.  The 368th web site has pictures of the actual plane and crew in black and white, with color illustrations, while the UbiSoft page has skins developed for the pilot's grandson.
