The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

It seems like we have had at least one to two inches of rain a week all summer long. My acre of yard keeps me busy mowing instead of flying on the nice days when the temp is only 100 and the humidity is only 85. Not a great summer for flying in Kansas. Maybe fall will be better. At almost 75 years old I don't take the heat and humidity the way I use to. And I worked outside most of my life. I am becoming a wimp in my old age and kind of enjoy it.

A good time to build in an air conditioned shop!!!  The routine we live with in AZ all the time.  Only thing different is we don't have any of that cold white stuff in the winter time; just good flying weather!

Hey Randy,  I've been in Tuscon when those white flakes were falling from the sky.   Was strange to see snow capped mountains going down 25.

And Jim with what you've been through you need to wimp out on the hot high humidity days.   I don't even try to get out as I'm still trying to get in shape.  Takes me an hour or two to mow what I used to mow in about 20 minutes.  Also the air conditioning unit is acting up in the shop so haven't been out there too much either.
