« on: October 13, 2006, 04:15:52 PM »
My Question is .
Is there any rule or policy that On-Line vender's have on credit card orders?
I have order a product 60 days and it has cleared from the bank.if back ordered would the vender still take payment first before shipping? ???

A good supplier won't hit your card till the item ships, have you tried to contact them and get a tracking number or asked if it shipped?

I talked to him, and was told that he had mold problems, I have no problems with this .  My question was  is this proper policy for on-line orders?

Standard policy with most mail/internet orders is that you are not charged until the item ships.

That said, our small vendors are probably a little overwhelmed in production, management, and customer service (they do it all!). I would tend to cut them a little slack. Up to a point of course.
