Title: On Line Building Class
Post by: Dick Pacini on December 07, 2009, 09:11:21 AM
Is this feature up and running yet?  I tried to register and the confirming email never came through.  I tried logging in  as a guest, but nothing happens. ???  Have I angered the stunt gods?

If I remember, Sparky delayed it due to to many things going on full time for him to start this series as of now.
So, like the rest of us, you'll have to struggle along on here and hide your ego and admit it when you are stumped and the rest of us can help you stumble along. Been there, still there. H^^ D>K LL~
Hmmmmm........must be why my planes sometimes stumble ??? n~ :##

Dick I do phone tech support for several schools and institutions that use Moodle. if you need help let me know and I should be able to help.
Ive never competed in stunt but I've talked more than a few instructors through online learning systems.

Is it Moodle or is the site just not working?

It looks like the site is working and I'm able to login to the site as a guest however the confirmation email hasn't come through for my personal login

I was able to log in as a guest too, but that was all I could do.  None of the features did anything more than send me back to login.

OK, I went to my browser and Googled what Moodle was and how to make it work.  It seems that this is an on-line tool primarily for educational purposes.  You interact with the instructor and classmates and are expected to take notes and spend about 4 hours a week "in class."

I had presumed that the class would be just a number of photos showing construction , with appropriate instructions inserted to explain the building process.  That would have been fine by me.  I should have known something was different due to the log-in requirement, which I thought was strange, since I was already logged in on the forum.

So, apparently, this program needs a live teacher and, lacking that individual, nothing is going to happen.

Of course, I may be wrong. HB~>
