The results so far have started to filter through...

Quite windy and lots of rain so I'm told.  :(

For some reason they seem to have split the F2B guys off to a different location to the rest of the events which does not sound ideal.

Nice to see Igor sitting in 2nd place in F2B after 2 rounds with his new electric model. Only a few points behind the leader.

F2D competition must be fierce. Everybody who flew in the third round lost.

Howard,

Where did you see the third round results?? All I seem to get is the "Un-offical after two rounds" on the WEB site:

You'd rather fly next to high walls and/or trees in bad weather?
If some organizers (no, better: those responsible for rewarding those bidders with absolute horrific facilities for F2B) would only understand that splitting a venue should have 100% priority when this implies moving F2B to a wide open space. Apart from the surface material being not OK -slippery, rippling-, it seems the Polish did a good job.

I've seen people lose their models at E Ch.s and W Ch.s because of F2B facility(ies) being of insufficient quality.
I expect to see these facilities being excluded from organizing Championships or World Cup events again.

But I DO play Stunt and I DO fly Bluegrass.

Wow Bruno. Well, That certainly told me... ::) Sorry if it came across as criticism, It was just a comment made to me from someone who was there. No reference was made to the suitability of either flying site (Well certainly not by me in the post above). Just that a few people were interested in more than one discipline the distance between F2B and the rest of the events was not ideal.  H^^

Aww, sh#*!  :'( Didn't mean to give you a bad feeling about that, no way. Misinterpreted where you were coming from.
I fully admit, that it's my bee in my bonnet....
I gave up flying international due to the ever unsuitable circumstances I encountered. And by unsuitable I mean really, really bad...
The common denominator seems that non-F2B pilots start organizing events include F2B, without consulting those that do have the knowledge.
Or worse, denying valid remarks about their faulty assumptions, leading to the problems mentioned.

Sorry again for pushing you into that  camp! H^^

I've taken up judging again (but only when the site is OK. ;) )
