Guys,
Based on some feedback I was able to simply hold the slide to the camera lens and get a reasonable, though not outstanding reproduction of the slides of some old Nats.
Here's a few samples, hopefully I can have all of them done professionally soon.

Chuck,
Great stuff....love those old pictures.
The only one I can identify, is the "Miss Kell", which I think was designed
by Bob Whitely. It made the cover of one of the mags....MAN, I believe.
Keep those photos coming.
And welcome back to the controline clan. You know what they say
about the second time around....enjoy.
Cheers.

On the last photo- the owner of the Dornier I don't know (on the left). The other two gents are Jim Dunkin and Bill Wright. They weren't stunt fliers. They were on the USA Team a couple times in Tean Race and finished 2nd once. They are hometown KC boys. The center photo is a Gene Shafer airplane. I imagine that's Mike Stotts Chipmunk.

Last photo, holding the plane, looked like Ron Howard to me initially
OK being a smart ass...too young to know any of those guys....grin
I love all the old photo compendiums.... keep them coming
Sad note... Dad in Vietnam and Mom needing 15~16 YO ME (and younger sibs) to not get into drugs and girls ---fully supported a (now) life long (( anything)) aviation fetish...
Sad because we have no 8mm or any photos of me and brothers playing with model airplanes in the 60~70s....and every day after homework and each weekend activity in Oakland Ca...

Always enjoy the old photos, thanks for posting them. Would like to know more about that Do335. y1

Always thought that Do 335 would make a good ' near scale ' stunt ship . Had a OS 30 & a OS 10 back then , long shaft to rear prop ,
the blast & inertia should eep the rear one turning . same size . ;D
Maybe its a Chipmunk with the Chipmunk paint scheme , in the one thats hard to pick out . H^^
