Ya, my new stunt ship has been ready to fly for two weeks.. Either it's too darn cold or the wind is blowing 20 MPH out of Texas.. According to a couple on-line weather forecasters Wednesday is suppose to be in the 70's with light wind. Keeping my fingers crossed, Wednesday afternoon may be THE day...

Where is that global warming all the know it all's have been preaching.  Maybe Mother Earth is making a shift to move the North pole to the center of Kansas.  Well only eight more weeks of school.  DOC Holliday

it has rained basically nonstop since Saturday and now I have to find a different place to fly because my backyard became a pond.

It was really warm today at Delta Park, in Portland Oregon.  ;D

Weather service says it was over 72 F!

The outside thermometer (in the shade) on our back deck, is reading over 81 F, at 6:30 PM!  VD~

Don't know why, but after living here in the NW for 30 years, I sweat when it gets over 70!  ;D

Today, the rain ended, but instead of sunshine, came snow.  It is supposed to start clearing up tomorrow and hopefully warm up.  This weather has been just ridiculous.  Maybe I shouldn't have stepped on that daddy-long-leg.  HB~>

The omen behind stepping on a daddy-long-leg is it will rain the next day, so I guess I killed the king because it has rained since Saturday  LL~

That'll learn ya!  Here in Ohio, Jeff Foxworthy's list of the four seasons we have has just been proven accurate - he says our four seasons are:  Almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction.  My flying field is really soggy, too.  Could probably lawn dart a ship clear up to the leading edge and only get dirt in the engine - no damage otherwise! n~ :o ::) LL~ LL~ D>K :!

The weather is now changing.  Sunshine expected for all of next week.  Too bad the backyard is flooded and I have baseball

I guess that is why I have stayed in either Kansas or Missouri.  If you don't like the weather today, wait until tomorrow.  Wednesday afternoon doing crossing duty in sirt sleeves, no jacket.  Today overcoat and gloves again.   As I sit in the shop typing this it is thunder, lightning and rain outside.  DOC Holliday

You said it, too bad there just aren't enough stunt ships with floats or skis for that matter! What's up with that?
