Title: Okie-Air mount install?
Post by: Paul Taylor on March 22, 2022, 03:58:42 PM
Anyone have any pictures of installing one of the 3D printed electric mounts in a profile?
The one on the website does not show much on how it’s installed. TIA

Hi, Paul
Download a copy of the article "Turning to the Dark Side - the Building of Circulas 46 IIe" from the Flying Lines website at: http://flyinglines.org/nunes.circulas46lle.html
Part 3 - Fuselage and Tail Construction shows how to use this mount.

Enjoy,
Dennis

Here is the one from my Sandpiper Trifecta.  The beams are hard balsa.  4 dowels drilled, 2 top, 2 bottom.

Here's a couple pics of a nose repair on a Legacy 40 using the full fuse 3D nose mount.
