Not sure what size they were but you probably didn't miss anything, 015 X 70's are $15.99 retail from Brodak and some dealers will give a little discount..

He did what is called a snipe, if you are going to go after much on eBay you might want to first check and see what you can buy the item for from a dealer or mail order. Often things go for more than retail on the Bay simply because two people get caught up in a bidding war and loose track of common sense.

Second check out some of the auto snipe sites.. (Goggle eBay and Snipe), learn how to set up an automatic snipe. It is the best way to get what you are after for the best price.

Couple other items worth noting, check the sellers shipping costs and make sure you include the shipping in whatever you decide your max is for the item. Once you have your max, set up a snipe for that amount less shipping. If you win great,  if not don't worry, the other guy paid too much and another one will come along that might well be a better deal.

Gee, that seems like "auction fever" pricing to me! I a, sure I paid something like $12 for *1000 feet* of .018 from MBS Model supply. And you have to remake the ends on the ready-made lines anyway.

Just don't forget, when you buy bulk cable you also need reels, eyelets and wrapping wire or crimp tubes. It's kinda embarrassing to make up a set of lines and not have a reel to put them on. Guess how I know about this one..

Wasn't me; I make up my own lines with bulk wire.  On ebay, I bid what it is worth to me and go do something else.  If someone else wants it more than I do that is fine because I have more junk than I need allready.

Your best bet is to buy ready made lines from Tom Morris, SIG  or Brodaks.   H^^

Agreed! Tom Morris will make a set of 65', 7 3/8" if you need him to.

CLC backs up their products 100%. I made a mistake specifying a bellcrank system and Jim Snelson rectified it, no charge. He's just like Macy's and Gimbal's on 34th Street!
