Title: OK you asked for it, Building tapes.
Post by: RC Storick on February 03, 2007, 05:55:38 PM
I purchased a JVC GZ-MG21U Hard disk camcorder. It has a 20 gig hard drive ,so no tape or cards to read. I can record a video and upload it right to the site or make a disk. The investment was high, I am hoping some will buy!

I bought it for interviews and contest flying to be displayed on the magazine site but would it be worth 19.95 a disk to see how I finish? Or some other process I use in building? Just trying to recoup the cost of the camera.

I think it's a great idea.  Hopefully you will get your investment back, plus!

I have a copy of the first tapes Windy made (the "first" Nobler Build).  Four tapes in all and at least 3 hours plus of sanding and painting on dope with a brush!  **) **) **)

His tapes have improved considerably since then! y1
(but you still are going to get "the rest of the story"!)  ;D

Just remember Robert that it was a certain "Proparc" back at the "other" forum that badgered you to do this. I still have those posts!!

Robert,
Great idea!
With content and quality we have grown to expect from you, keep the price competitive and you will have another "winner".  y1

Robert, This is great news!! Not only would I like to see top notch build recordings, I would also like to see some of the same things show up in the on-line magazine as well. Perhaps snippets of a build DVD.  y1

Would buy dvd's as soon as they are available. Would like to see a series on just building and finnishing. Hardware installs, engine tank installs, Wing and tail to fuse ect. There are alot of common technics that most take as common knowledge and are never really shown in detail so press on I'll buy a set.Walter #^
