OK over spray..........
« on: March 06, 2009, 09:56:52 AM »
Seem's that some time back there was a post on using some sort of kitchen pot cleaner to help remove over spray.
I have some Red on White that I need to remove so I thought that I'd ask here.
What do you use, this is Buterate dope with auto paint for color.
                             Thanks, Gil

I think what you are refering to is the Mr. Clean cleaning pads. They are white, about 3 x 4 inchs and almost an inch thick. havent used them myself but hear they are great for cleaning up LIGHT overspray.
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!

#^          The "Grey matter" kicked in, what I was trying to remember was a product called "Soft Scrub" a counter top cleaner. Can be picked up at Super Markets, or as we call them in the "South" Grocery Stores...
Hope that this helps some one else with this problem...

Clay Bars - Meguiars is good. Use a dish washing soap solution as the lubricant.  Body shops use it all the time and it doesn't abrade the surface.

The Meguiars clay system is the best for removing overspray.  I use it with either their "Quik Detailer" or "Final Inspection" liquids as the lubricant.
