Ok guys please help me
« on: January 20, 2007, 01:00:01 PM »
I am working on the on line magazine. It will be in .pdf. These files are locked for viewing unless you are registered. I have done a test page with the same article from Peter D. on the MC 72. I need some people to try and open this file. The password is "print" try to print it and report back to me. It should be locked. Please try this for me.

Robert:

I tried the link to the pdf file ane entered the password.  It would not accept the password in either caps or lower case letters.  I hope this helps.

Because you are not allowed to administer the forum. Be sure you are logged in and you are pushing the right button. Altho there is still not much to see there. I am working on it and I am activly trying to get some submissions. I NEED CONTRIBUTERS!!!

Because you are in the wrong place. Here is the file..

http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=3616.0;attach=6943

Click on it and try to open it without a password

There is a difference in the two files one is html and one is pdf.

If you go to view in you Acrobat reader and select view as continuous facing it looks like a magazine. You can zoom so you can read it.

Does everyone like the PDF format better than HTML?

I am just working out some kinks before I start to editing the template. I still need submissions Get them in now!

The only potential problem I see with this online mag is the fact that there are already 2 U/C publications, SN and CLW. With writers already committed to these mags how many submissions are possible before you start getting duplications? Nothing wrong with this I suppose but I wouldn't want to be reading the same thing over and over.

The difference between SN and CL world magazine and this is I WILL PAY FOR YOUR ARTICLE and remember this you will see it here as it happens.

So far this is a zero sum gain proposition. I hope in the future it will make money but if it doesn't so be it. As long as it pays for its self.

There is nothing there yet to see. However in order to view it you will have to be a paid member for the on line mag. Go to your profile and click paid subscriptions.
