Thanks Pat! Your review just points out how important it was that people worked their buns off to be U.S. citizens. My dad went through hell to be able to vote in every election that was held for the rest of his life. His combat problems aside he always thought that being a citizen was a privilege. It was a 50 year effort to write just a part of his life. He and men like him are what made America really something special. Every week I see immigrants in this area, most of them remind me of my dad. They are working to keep this Country where it was intended to go. I had the audio tapes my dad made about his life, and it has been a pleasure to pass on his memories, as well as the memories of many others of my youth. On top of all that, the book as you mention is a truly good read for anyone interested in WW1 air combat!
