Encore 40's
« on: December 03, 2006, 04:32:57 PM »
Allen Brickhaus designed the Encore, Its the next generation after the Legacy. He asked me to build a pair of Encore 40's to complement the Encore 50 I built last year. One will be a profile and the other a full fuselage. I'm trying polyspan for the first time. The wings are in primer and next will be to create the fuseage"s

Hi Mike,

Those are looking good.  What did you use for the leading edge molds.

I think you will like the Polyspan for the wings.  It is much tougher than anything I have used and covers pretty good too.  Be very careful that you sand through the finish.

Hi Zuriel
I used some pine 2x6 cut close to shape and then a draw knife to finish. I then wrap the mold in plastic
