Came across this in my accumulation of stuff. Seems to be a repro of something.
I was thinking of using it in one of the OTS Coasby designs.
Anyone ever run one?
Made by Ian Russel.

F.R.O.G. made some funky-looking diesels. From time to time, I've thought about getting one, just for giggles.

It's a Rustler replica of a FROG 500. Originally came in an ignition version as well, although I suspect that the glow came first IIRC. Very popular in it's day within the Anglosphere where economic tariffs more or less shut out engines from other sources. Originally inspired by the K&B Torpedo .29.
The Rustler version is reputed to be a strong engine as well. Should bring about +$200 on that international auction site.
For Adrian Duncan's comprehensive study of the original FROG 500 see:

Isn't this made by Sergey Belko?

Reputedly made in the FSU, so quite possibly so.
