Wheels down in Baltimore. Waiting on follow-on travel to Colorado Springs. First order of business when I get home: knock out a jet catapult glider for the Rocky Mountain Free Flight Champs this weekend. Deployment #6 complete.

Ah good old Colorado Springs say hello to gold camp road for me.
I hike the closed portion of old gold camp road a lot when I’m not feeling too adventurous.

Welcome home!

Welcome home Sean. Thank you for your service.
Glad you are back. Nothing can compare to that wheels down bump when you know you are home.

Well, have the not-at-all-obligatory welcome home!

Sarge, you have earned it, welcome back...

Good to hear that you're back on USA soil, Sean. Delay that CLG project until after you give the wife and kid(s) a good snuggle! y1 H^^ Steve

Great to have you back safe and sound! Keep it that way.
BTW is that great German restaurant with the incredible fondues still there? Mind you I was last there nearly 50 years ago, but it is still a fond memory. They had Ox tail soup to die for too. Sort of south west area of town as I recall.
Colorado Springs is one of my favorite places!

Welcome home Sean...say hey to the wife and kiddo for me
Best Mexican food I ever had was in Colorado Springs...Well prepared, flavorful, choice of sauces from Mild to get the hell outta here hot. Here is Texas I only get bland flavors and too much mystery meat...

Thanks Sean, and welcome home!

Welcome home. Colorado can be so nice this time of year. Only discovered that when I photographed a wedding in Colorado Springs. Previously several December and January ski weeks in slushy Winter, never seeing how great the state looked in Summer.
We are here to support your model flying activities. Need an obscure part, some advice, or just want to type in some posts? This is the place.

Welcome home Sean. Glad you're back safe.

Thanks everyone! Clara got quite a surprise when she got off the bus from school. Very happy to see daddy! Spent the last couple days recovering from jet lag. Today is pre-contest prep for the Denver free flight contest. My jet catapult kit didn’t arrive in time, but I cracked open my glider box, and it seems I built a CLG before I left and forgot about. :)
