Title: O S L A 46 cyl heads

 Guy's if any one has crashed, and broken an OS LA 46 if you still have the stock head would you let me know?

I suspect that Gil is trying to remachine stock heads to make the .46LA do 4-2-4 runs. It appears that there are no heads available from Tower Hobby, so he's doing the right thing, I think, but don't think the heads need rework. He probably did not consider making one stock head into a clamp and going to barstock "button heads". This is generally an easier way to do it, especially since the LA heads are such a silly exterior shape. Don't take any .40LA heads, Gil...the bolt pattern is smaller!  H^^ Steve

Steve; I have an LA 46 with 400+ flights and get a great 4-2 break. It has two added head shims and uses 10% nitro. For a "cheap" motor, it's great.
