Does any one know if the control line circle at Forest Park, in Queens, NYC is still there?

Seems to me that Flushing Meadows is the only active flying site in NYC.....
Although PARKS is an active r/c site at Floyd Bennett Field in Queens and there is plenty of room there....
Have fun!

Its still there. I live 5 minutes from there. Its a bit overgrown at the moment. We all use Flushing Meadows Park. come out to flushing and fly with us.

I recall seeing some activity a few years ago that looked like control line flying right off the Van Wyck Expressway near the south end of the park.  Is that the location?  Who do you get in there?

I surfed Google maps and there are some paved circles off the Van Wyck south end of the park ... I assume this is the location mentioned.   How do I get in there?

It depends
if you are traveling on LIE (495), take Van Wyck Expy, (toward JFK)
take the first exit (right) is Flushing Meadow Corona Park, then take a left on "T" (meadow lake rd.) the field is on your right

have fun
