Tonight at 6:49 my mom passed away. I have been caring for her best as I could for the past 26 months. I plan to remain here in New York city, till May. Hopefully when I return to Ca. I will be able to spend a lot more time building and flying models.
Thank you to all those whom have given me kind words and support while I was doing this task. I apologize

My sympathies, Jim. I know there's not a thing that I can do more directly for you -- but I know what a grief it is to lose a parent.
Don't get stuck in it -- I hope that you have some support personnel there in NY to help you out, and if you don't make it a point of calling back home to CA on a regular basis!

Jim, you did right in taking care of your Mother. We only get one or two, I count my Mother-in-law as one also. But, take care and remember we are here to help if you need it.

I am doing ok mentally. I am in some physical pain but that was what caused me to be able to come and care for her.
I hope to find time and space to build and fly when I am home in Ca. Maybe even get to meet some of the people from here.

A very gifted preacher once told me "When you loose your dad you've lost your best friend, when you loose your mom, you've lost it all." My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
