About to head to the hospital with the wife for our scheduled c-section for our twins (1 boy, 1 girl).
Outside, I'm trying to remain calm, cool, and collected, even though I have been slightly grumpy due to not much sleep.
Inside, I'm a nervous wreck, scared of what's about to happen, and of course my mind is racing with all the worst possible outcomes.
Prayers for peace of mind, a safe delivery, and speedy recovery, and good health all around would be very much appreciated.
Pictures of the newborn pilots to come later tonight or tomorrow.

Good Luck, I know the feeling. My wife had an emergency "C" on Dec 26, our second girl. The emergency was that the doctor did not want to work on Christmas Day. She turned out fine.
Prayers with you - Ken

C-sections were done 2,000+ years ago (Julius Caesar's), so it's pretty old hat. All three of mine were delivered by C-section, and that wasn't even 50 years ago...but close! Everything will be fine, but you need to leave home early and drive very carefully on the trip to the hospital. You got this! H^^ Steve

You should not have to worry about the surgery. My grand daughter Emmy just gave us another great grandson. He is so tiny to this old man. My middle daughter just went through surgery on a spot on her brain. No results yet if it is cancerous or not. A lot of praying and thanks going out to our GOD for answering. Hope all goes well for the twins. D>K

The only trouble is they grow up so fast, so take lots of photos and videos as they grow up..
