Title: Not model aviation but I'm very Flattered and PROUD!!!
Post by: Bob Zambelli on June 05, 2007, 06:55:02 AM
There is an entertainment periodical in the Philadelphia area called The Philly Edge.

A few weeks ago, a very nice young lady took some photos of my GTC.  b1

She is a contributing photographer and the photos appeared in this week's issue.

I've been enjoying this little car for almost 32 years and it's always a pleasure to take it out, but I didn't think I'd see it in a newspaper.  b1 b1

Yes - the side plate was cracked. A simple welding job and it's good as new.

I always thought that the smoke was standard issue with Ferraris!

Hey, 40 years old, around 160,000 miles, it's allowed to smoke!!! LL~ LL~ LL~

When it hits 200,000, I'll rebuild it.

It occured to me that it must be a very tough engine in its own right to run on unleaded fuel and not burn a valve!

There's just something about seeing your car in print. It's like the ultimate guy thrill. We would rather see our cars in magazines than anything else. I've been working a hot rod Bug for years now and would die to see it in Hot VW's mag.
