Title: Not CL Need Freeflight Help
Post by: mike londke on March 23, 2017, 06:28:34 PM
Last run helping Mack Henry clean out his shop and we found these. He thinks they might be Russian made folding propellers for FAI Wakefield freeflight planes. They are both different.  I'm going to try to sell them for him and find them a good home. Any idea exactly what they are and value would be appreciated. Who is the biggest freeflight guy in the US that could help. Thanks

Looks Wakefield to me. Pretty sure it is for rubber power.

Acording to one of my FF gurus, it's for sure front ends and blades for F1B, consistent with Eastern European makes of 1995-2005 time frame. Unsure of value, though his best advise is to throw them on eBay. Hope that helps some.

Definitely F1B props, from a while back. Walt Ghio of Sacramento who is known to NorCal flyers and is a world-renowned F1B flyer would certainly know about them and how to sell them. We have lots of FF guys on here, somebody may be interested directly. I fly only the smaller F1G so no use for these.

I flew F1b, but don't recognize the hubs. They are an older generation without removable rubber bobbins. Someone on Hippocket (http://www.hippocketaeronautics.com/hpa_forum/index.php (http://www.hippocketaeronautics.com/hpa_forum/index.php)) should be able to I.D. it and give you an idea of value.

Got in touch with Walt Ghio, he's assessing them for me. Thanks for the replies.
