So it looks like a glue and acts like a glue, but it's not glue?
Or maybe it's garden-variety UV-cure epoxy along with the nifty light, plus a lot of hype with a light seasoning of outright lies?
Well it's more likely a UV cure acrylic than epoxy! But you're probably right about the hype and outright lies. It' probably not called a glue because it's actual adhesion would be fairly low...they do mention that it works best in a concave hole or slot.
The problem with most UV cure stuff is that exposure to UV light (like the sun) during it's use cycle usually deteriorates the the integrity of the stuff! It continues to cure until it destroy's itself.
We use a lot of it in optical insturments for lens bedding because it doesn't shrink or expand during cure! The best of this stuff actually cures in a blue light!
