Did you know it was 50 years ago today (Sunday) 4 am this morn. that Eddie Cochrane died here in England, we drove by his memorial in Chippenham Wiltshire yesterday on the way home. Thats 50 YEARS!! doesn't time fly? and what a talented musician he was.

How many people even remember Eddie Cockrane! I was in high school then and loved his music!

Got that Chip going yet?? I'm waiting for some dry weather to spray the last clear coat, then the decals . . . then she's done. I'm not going to take the time to buff and polish; need to get some flight time on it before the Northwest Regiona in Oregon . . . Dang, that's getting real close

That's what I thought, Eddie was better known here than in the U.S.? How Ironic! We do a couple of his tunes in our band, and the kids here love it!
No I haven't started on my Chipmunk yet, I was due to have this minor op. on my back last weekend, but I became a victim of the Icelandic volcanic dust cloud, the surgeon couldn't get back here!! So I'm still struggling! never mind.
