It appears as though it was painted several times, and they kept changing their minds.

On a smaller scale this is how I paint airplanes.

The part where they've got the top sheeted in plastic and they are walking on it wearing booties was kind of scary. It's a long fall to the concrete floor....

It is an awesome airplane.
