Northwest Regionals lodging
« on: March 31, 2015, 01:52:52 PM »
A reminder to those planning to attend the Northwest Regionals that we have arranged for a group rate at the very nice Windmill Inn near the flying site.  This is an excellent hotel with a good restaurant next door.  To be guaranteed the special rate, make sure to make your reservation by May 7.  The contest management does assume some financial risk at reserving a large block of rooms, so we hope everyone planning to attend takes advantage of this opportunity.  The agreed rate is for 2-queen-bed rooms, but they will give the same rate for other kinds of rooms.  See the flyer posted on Flying Lines' Where the Action Is page for contact info.

What is the rate, JT? I heard that the Navy Carrier and Combat guys are over at the Notel 6. I'm cheap, but I don't know if I could deal with them running their engines in the parking lot at 2am, ya know?

I'm looking for somebody to share a room; Gary Gingerich has official punked out on me.  H^^ Steve

Just a bump-up to remind everyone that the deadline for being sure to get a room at the Windmill Inn for the Regionals is May 7.  Rooms may be available at the special rate after that, but they will no longer be held for us, so the hotel could fill up.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Roseburg.
