We held a NorthBeast staff meeting last night and have some additional information.

There will be no BOM rule in effect. There will be a Concourse de elegance award for pilot built models.

We are encouraging competitors to come fly stunt with us. Pack up your Shark, Axioma, etc. and jump on a plane.

My fairly well equipped shop will be open to anyone in need of repairs or tuning.

Please consider pre registering. This will enable me to get a headcount for the Saturday evening party. I would rather do Hamburgers and famous Thumanns hot dogs over pizza.

There is no cost to pre register. Please, please, do this to help the planning committee make this the premier event that PAMPA is looking to produce.

Advanced will be flying for the Reinhart Cup and Intermediate will be flying for the Scarinzi memorial award.

Hope you have a chance to make it out!

Next year we will plan to not interfere with the Canton and Cleveland to offer more opportunity for flyers to come from neighboring regions.

Wow, what a great weekend! The weather was good both days and the competition was fierce! We ran 4 events with 13 Classes. Really must thank the Judges, Tabulators, and Pit Boss and special thanks to Somerset RC club for the use of their site. Also, thanks to Mark Weiss and PAMPA for sponsoring this event. Special shout out to Howard Rush and Jim Aron for the NorthBeast Plaques and Bob Hunt for refurbishing the Red Reinhart Cup, plus the great raffle prizes. I hope everyone had a great time at the First ever PAMPA regional event.

Joe pretty much covered it.

Kyle and I had a great time! Kyle won a kit in the raffle and three other raffle winners gave Kyle their winnings. He went home with three kits and an engine. He is a very happy 5 year old!

Thanks to everyone who helped make the contest possible. We can’t wait for next year.
