I'm currently "bashing" an ARF Nobler kit and I need this dimension for reference. I failed to record this info prior to chopping off the stock wingtips...
On a stock Nobler, or the ARF, where exactly does the front leadout cross the end wing rib? In other words, I need an accurate measurement from the wing L/E at the end rib back to where the leadout crosses that same rib.
Thanks! :)

Wayne, on the ARF in the basement, it's just about 5.5 inches from the trailing edge. The CENTER of the two leadouts is at 5 inches from the trailing edge.
Hope that helps!

Wayne -- use adjustable leadouts!! You'll be happier for it.

I normally do Tim, and that would be the wise decision, but I'm skipping it this time.

Wayne,
I respectfully have to ask why would you not incorporate the ability to adjust the leadout positions. You have gone to the trouble and expense to have a model capable of doing a stunt pattern. With essentially no additional cost and a very small increment of additional time, you will have the ability to trim the model for better performance. It makes no sense not to do it.

OK. I'll pile on. Any time I find myself saying "that would be the wise decision -- nah" I end up regretting it.

I agree and you guys are correct. I appreciate the replies and I will reconsider, but I would still like this reference.
