Ok so I ordered ONE Nobler arf. Just received tracking number and the following info.
Service Type: GROUND
Weight: 35.10 Lbs

Must be made of lead ... these fly at 43 oz electric powered.

WOW!! THAT'S WAY OFF!!! Must be a large scale Nobler.

Many shipping companies base the assigned weight on the size of the box no matter what the actual weight may be. The bigger boxes take up more space so that's their thinking.

Actual weight or dimensional weight, whichever is greatest.

I hope aiecraft loadmasters don't use those phoney numbers to calculate thier load placement for CG considerations... n1 n1 LL~ LL~ LL~
