Good Film . Real cars . And they speak english . tho the text's in newspeak .  :o

I think cars now are styled by a Farmer , or maybe theyre the best maket , as the resembel the rear of a cow , except the Tesla which seems to be drawn by a Duck entusiast ( Canard ) .
Was probaly highly topical and controversial when released ? only  75 years ago , so its fairly ' modern .

Apart from technical issues the this film the prime error is the wearing of FULL DRESS uniforms with medals, etc all the time.

As a USAF officer I can say we only wore these once or twice a year at special events like the retirement of a wing commander.  Movies & TV show persisted is having us wear them all the time.  Sort of like medieval epics with suits of armor all the time.

I watched the first 3 minutes.  When the colonel  and general came into the room with their cover (hats) on, I turned it off.  As soon as you clear the threshold from outdoors to the indoors of the building, your cover comes off.

That's Griffith Observatory in one of the opening scenes. It is on the mountain overlooking Los Angeles. The badge on the car is a thinly veiled reference to Cal Tech....
