I saw the hand surgeon yesterday and he decided that my body would take over and grow new parts to replace the stuff that that was missing after the encounter with the CF prop last Saturday. Many thanks to everyone who helped out before and after the accident. Kinda hard to type but I still get to go to Nationals for my first time.

Mike that is good news.
more importantly perhaps, have you found a replacement prop for the one you broke #^
seriously, I was down judging when this happened, I heard about it after the fact. really glad to see that a full recovery is in the works. I like the new Shrike by the way.

Great to hear the good news, Mike. From my hand surgery experience (not propeller or cutter related), do not overlook Physical Therapy afterwards. The place I went was roughly across the street from Ikea...and I recommend them highly. Lemme know if you want a ride to the club meeting next Thor'sday. ;) Steve
PS: For anybody with a youngster casting about for a trade, PT is a good bet, and hand PT is an especially good "merit badge" to attain.

Mike, sorry to hear about your hand. I know it can happen to any of us, anytime its just that quick. It hurts just thinking about it. I Hope it recovers fast.

Hey, I was holding the plane when he did it. Just the kind of thing I would do. It's a reminder to develop a routine and stick to it.
Glad to hear that the hand will recover on it's own and that it won't effect you going to the Nats. Hopefully, we will see you at the Stunt-A-Thon.

Randy did you hold the other two guys' planes?
