Title: No Germany at WC 2012

Can anyone shed any light onto why Germany was not present at 2012 WC? It looks like there were not present in any class.

I think several guys did not come because of the same reason. The termin for WCh was changed several times, and people had simply fixed plans already. Richie told us on contest in spring that he cannot come, and I heard similar thing from others. Combined with long distance from germany to Bulgaria and terrible forecast, they simply did not come. I was missing several more friends, not only germans. We had this year only 60 people in F2B, it is number which we have often on ECh. I think it will be much better next time in Poland.

We realy missed the people from Germany. Probably they have evaluated  much better  the  field conditions and all the rest organization for the Championship'

From other reports, it appears that Richie K. got married about the same time.  That wuld be an acceptable reason to miss the Worlds for most of us! ;D

Well, we were short a team member because of last minute date changes.   But, it looks like Matt is having a great time at school.
