Yesterday I did some laundry, mowed my front lawn went to H&R Block, had lunch at Armadillo Willies, went to the Gun Exchange to buy primers,
came home, ate dinner, fed the dog and watch the baseball game.

Did you find any primers?

Did you find any primers?
NO !!!!!
Four gun shops in San Jose. Three shops up the peninsula. No large rifle primers to be found.
I also had to wait two months for IMR powder.
When this stuff finally becomes available, I'll horde the hell out of it like everyone else.
(By the way Steve, you were not supposed to take the initial post seriously) VD~

What game were you watching?
The G. Men are off today!

Woke up, went to two classes, put two flights in, went to a meeting that never happened, charged batteries, got a couple forms signed off, went to class. After class went to the softball field and out three more flights in, now waiting on pizza. College life is so tough ;D
Only sad part about today is no CL flying, all the flights were on my RC CarbonZ Yak54

Larry is an A's fan, which is not nearly as embarrassing as it used to be. Although you couldn't tell it from Sunday's score.

Larry should have joined us flying at (former) NAS Alameda yesterday, off the vast perfectly smooth concrete ramp by the seaplane lagoon. Light winds, bright sun, nothing interesting for background except the USS Hornet, San Francisco Bay, The Bay Bridge, and the City across the Bay. We could hold one heck of a contest here if the powers that be could be brought on board. We were flying electric only, and attracted no unwanted attention.
BTW Alameda is Jimmy Doolittle's home town, and the Tokyo Raiders were loaded onto the original Hornet right where we were flying yesterday and sailed out the Golden Gate for Tokyo on April 2, 1942.

Go A's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A's 12 Astros 2
The two lowest payrolls in baseball
Gee I haven't looked at the standings today, what place are the Angels in?
They say money cant buy love, and apparently, it cant buy you a championship team either.

Well, Larry has certainly rooted for the wrong team for the last three years!
But its OK, as long as they beat the Angles!

Hey, I am not an A's basher - but that's MONDAY's score. And your are right about the Angels, they look terrible regardless of the payroll.

Thats right. You know, what have you done for me lately.
That poor Huston pitching staff will get a drubbing again tonight.
I heard that the Astro's management has made the trip with the team to scout out some of the big time Fox .15 Hurlers in the area.
Hows the arm Brett??

Paul,
That's Angels, not Angles. Angles are like that 90 degree turn on the bottom of the triangel.

I had heard that Larry had a tryout with the As a few years back. When he couldn't get the Fox 15 above 48MPH they passed.
Honest!

Angle as in the think they are smart spending lots of money to win. That "angle" may not work!

That "angle" did not work for them last year.
While the "Low Budget A's" were playing the Tigers, the "High Roller Angels" were playing golf.

He must have been watching my first practice flight at VSC! That's about what happened when it pancaked into the ground. They sure don't fly like electrics.
