Title: NGSR C/L AEROBATICS FLY IN, CANTON, GA. Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 2017-Cancelled
Post by: Joseph Patterson on September 10, 2017, 06:09:21 PM
The North GA. Sky Rebels C/L Club have decided to cancel the Canton, GA. contest scheduled for Sept. 30, Oct. 1ST . The reason for cancellation is due to  Hurricane Irma. A majority of the contestants coming to the contest are from Florida, some are from areas being hit very hard. Also some of our great DVIII friends from Texas were planning to come, but Hurricane Harvey has interrupted their plans. I still don't know how much damage IRMA may do to Alabama, Tenn., and KY. We have great people from those areas too who were planning to come . Therefore, the NGSR Club members feel out respect for those in the hard hit areas to reschedule this contest for another date. We are also concerned about fuel availability for travelers as well as motel accommodations.
Our club members will get together and decide on a future date.
Many of you have already made reservations, so cancel them as soon as you can. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
       Sincerely,
                     Doug Patterson - CD- jd3patterson@gmail.com

Y'all are welcome. I hope our Florida buddies and their families are OK, and hopefully their homes are OK too. They are in our thoughts and prayers.
