Title: New to the Site
Post by: Don Jenkins on March 30, 2013, 05:55:55 AM
This is my first post on this site, although I have been reading and learning quite a bit from all of you for the past several months.  I returned to this hobby last year after a 40 year lay off, and I am really enjoying it.  The best part is the people I have met at meetings and contests that really make this hobby GREAT.  I am attempting to post photos in the gallery of some of my planes, but they are not yet approved.  Will I be informed of the reason they are not approved or does it just take awhile for the process to get them on the gallery?

Welcome to Stunt Hanger and as far as photos, check the size of them.   Read the fine print and watch out for old men like me that speak/type/write what they are thinking without thinking about it.    Great bunch of guys on here and lots of different opinions on how to do things.

Thanks for the welcoming.  The checkerboard deck supports one car, one bass boat and a whole bunch of control line planes.  I just sprayed a few coats of clear on a Gieseke Nobler yesterday that I hope I can get in the air to compete with in the contest in Hutersville, NC on 4 and 5 May.

Dan;

 Up at the very top of the web page are a series of 'tabs' labelled "Chat", "Games", "Links", "Photo-Gallery", and "Donate".  Select "Photo-Gallery" and the resulting page contains links to a variety of galleries, broken into AMA Districts and other categories.

 Dan, go to the "Photo Gallery" tab toward the upper right of the homepage. You'll find pics from every district there.

Oh yeah! I never looked that far up! The way the page pops up on my screen, the very top is hidden by the tool bar. I'll have to check that out some more later.
    And yes Don, very nice models by the way, now that I know where they are! y1
   Type at you later,
