You will notice some new features being added in the next few weeks. First off I am going to open the photos allowed is a single post to 20 instead of 10. This is as long as you keep them within reason in size. 75 KB max. Second you will see the Vendors corner please support the people who will have taken the time to answer your questions and post their products. http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?action=collapse;c=24;sa=expand#24
I will be also adding a single server upgrade. Right now we are only allowed to use 33% of the processor on our box. To some this does not matter but to the ones who use the chat room it will make the difference of the lag going from 10ms to instantaneously. We are going to be put on a high load box because the site has had over 1.5 Million hits to this page and we are not even a year old yet. The cost of this is 19.95 a month extra but I think that if I offer the finest place to gather on the web its worth it!

As this is turning into a general control line, are you thinking about some kind of subscription offer? I mean 25 green ones for a mag that is supposed be published 4 times a year compaired to what is going on here. DOC Holliday

Doc I do not understand the question?

It seems to me that it would be easier on you money wise if you had some kind of say membership fee. It would help build a reserve in case you need to replace some components/electronics. DOC Holliday

Well so far this is a donation site only. I am not looking to make any money off this but it does need to be self supporting. Some people have no extra money but they still should be able to enjoy the fellowship and knowledge that is exchanged here. However just like a Free Newspaper the money has to come from somewhere. So it is with the donations ,advertisers and some out of pocket money, I can keep the ball rolling.
So for now it will remain a free site. But those of you who can, send in those donations so we can keep the kit a month alive.

Sparky, I for one really appreciate the donation system, and I really do intend to give; however, as of late we (the wife and I) have been really strapped for money. Our #2 son has had complications from colon cancer operations and will be off work for some time and we are helping support him via house payments, bills, food, etc. When things get back to normal I intend to send some monetary assistance to you for this forum.

Marvin, I too wish I could help a little more than I do, however the next time a make a small donation I will put in a few extra dollars for you. I am sure there may be some others that could do the same thing.
