How many cuts per inch?  My right index finger has nine, but they're just scars now!

 :( :( :( :(
At the nationals one year I was taking pictures of a flyer starting his engine. After the engine started he reached for the starter & I herd a tick. Seven slices later with a carbon prop, stitches. Don't mess with carbon props, use a chicken stick.  HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>

Chicken sticks don't help if you are not aware of the meat slicer we put on those engines.   Even wood props will do damage if you don't pay attention.   You want to see the scars from getting in a hurry or pilot too anxious for take off.

Yeah Doc, This WAS a wooden prop, but at 10,3--10,5 it didn't even flinch..

An 8th Air Corps guy should know about prop arcs and related issues.  All I ever learned was how much I missed my poor old grey haired Momma!!!!  (And her cooking).  Good luck and I hope all goes well with your recovery.  I will get the grand babies to remember you in their prayers.  Praying for a Bootlegger.  I don't know how the Almighty is gonna respond to that:-))) . If you change your name to Teetotaler don't blame me!!!!   Stay safe!!

Brother George, I sure do thank you for the prayers as that is the best thing that can happen to us.

Give the Grand Kids a hug for me and tell them thanks for the Prayers...
