New Stunt Design
« on: December 24, 2017, 01:56:13 PM »
OK not really but this kid's love of planes on strings warms my heart. He makes these all day every day when we are not building flying real CL. Merry Christmas to all our friends in CL, we can't wait to see you in 2018.

Dang Mike you hit him hard on that landing score! ( I'm kidding)😊

I judged Sam at the WKSI contest and never seen a prettier landing then the one he showed me. I think I gave him a 40.

I looking forward to the day he beats you in a combat match. Keep him on the handle.

Merry Christmas to you and Sammy my friend. 🎄

Mike, you are doing a terrific job with that young lad.  I have watched so many young people in this model plane thing grow up and some doing better than their dad in competition and also in life you could see the upbringing they have had.   Tell him the old DOC likes multi winged planes. H^^

Well both really, because we enjoy both.  Ultimately it's up to him how much or how little he wants to do. I don't push him to fly but that's not an issue at this point, he wants to fly, all the time. He got his first taste of real combat this year and I don't think he's giving that up. He likes flying stunt as well and wants to do better. So it's really up to him to choose the discipline he wants to pursue. It's safe to say we'll be flying both events for a long time. I'm just along for the ride and digging flying toy airplanes with my kid while he still wants to hang out with his dad.

And I hope it is for many, many years.  My son is tied up with a rock band/group.   Look up 'Villians Dance'.  He's the lead singer. H^^
