Dave let me know they were flying this AM at the field. Asked the wife if I could use the car. Drove down to spectate. Didn't get a picture of the Dad flying a Combat Streak after a change of plane. Did get a couple of shots of Dave with the student. Maybe next time I will have a plane, especially one I think the student will have an easier time flying. D>K

It was sure HOT out there this morning. Glad you got out Doc. This is my #3 grandchild Bryce- 8 years old. He didn't quite get a full flight in but we will get there soon. Cantankerous .049s didn't help. Mark is in the learning/crashing/repairing phase with outside maneuvers. Thanks for helping change engines today Doc. We are using a couple Combat Streaks with stunt engines for that. I will be trying my 10 year old granddaughter on the trainers in a week or two. I've been collecting a bunch of half A and larger engines for quite a while to equip these kids. Now I'm finding some of them are worthless with internal corrosion. I'll eventually find the few good ones in the pile and combine parts to build a couple more.
