We have a new guy that started coming out to fly with us. (Eric) Only problem is he works most weekends.
Eric stopped by my house last week so I could pass along some hand me down plane and a Fox engine to him. I showed him Ryan's new ride and told him I needed to do a break job on it. He offered to help me with the break job. This would save me around $350 is what my shop told me would be the cost for breaks and rotors with labor. Eric said we could do it in a few hours. So I took off today and he dropped by to help. Turns out it did not need rotors, just had to turn them.
He also need some help breaking in his new OS LA .25.
So after the break job, we ran a few tanks thru his new OS on the bench. Ran by and grabbed some BYB (That's BackYard Burgers, not Bring Your Booze

) and off to the soggy field.
He is flying a Ty Marcucci ShoeString with a new OS engine. He is working on take off and landings. He did real good. Three flights and zero crashes.
Add another C/L flyer.
