Kit Componenets and Prototype of the George Aldrich Peacemaker
« on: January 12, 2010, 09:07:59 PM »
I am in the process of building a prototype of the George Aldrich profile Peacemaker. These photos show you the fuselage, tail and wing components and I took one shot of how the framework of the wing will go together. I made some internal changes in the wing to simplify and expedite construction of the wing. You will notice there is a front shear web and a rear shear web. The height of the shear webs are extended so you can literally set the wing up on a flat surface without the use of a jig. The shear webs and the ribs are slotted and simply slip together at the leading and trailing edges. The ribs are stepped down to receive the leading and trailing edge sheeting. Once the wing is built, you simply snap off the bottom of the shear web at the perforated line. Building this wing will be a pleasure. The appearance and integrity of the wing has been maintained with these enhancements and externally looks exactly like the original.

I will post building photos as construction progresses on the prototype.
I will be taking orders for these kits starting January 20 and will be posting pricing in the classifieds. There will be a limited number of these kits so please contact me if you have any questions or wish to put your name on the list. The e mail address I have set up for this is customcutkits@gmail.com.
