Well....it does say that the active ingredient is 100% castor oil. It doesn't say what the other stuff is.

If you Google for mole repellent, the standard mix is castor, dish detergent, and water. The detergent makes the castor mix with the water, which helps carry it into the ground. As I understand it, the grubs or meal worms are the moles chow. It's claimed that moles don't like the castor flavor...understandably...tho I suspect it would also give them the squirts, which would foul their tunnels and make them unpleasent habitat.  SH^  LL~ Steve

I bought a small bottle from Wally world, is it safe to use? No ingredients other than castor oil listed on label.

Uh, Steve,

How do you intend to use it?  It might not be too good of an idea to take it internally.

I used some of this stuff last year and it seemed to work. I did not see the active ingredients last year of all castor. One thing is says to do is water after you put it down to make sure it soaks in good. I think last year they just went over to the neighbors yard, and now there back. D>K

Maybe I should just pour the stuff in my fuel to take the castor level up to like 50%, mount up a Fox 35 and point the muffler in a opening in the mole tunnel. Fire that baby up and smoke'm out!  LL~ Plus the nose will drive them out as well.

Most (good) fuel makers (Powermaster & SIG, for sure) package castor in pints or quarts, and your fuel dealer should be able to get it, with no Hazmat fees. Also, you can order Klotz "Benol" (as well as Techniplate and Super Techniplate...which is 20% castor) from Tower Hobby and some other online hobby shops.  H^^ Steve

Why all the fuss?  Just go down to your local motorcycle shop and buy castor there in quarts, either Klotz or Maxima?  No muss, no fuss, no waiting for mail or online ordering, no hazmat fees just plain old castor from a convenient source.

Call Fox Mfg. a gallon of castor for $20.00 and no haz mat charge.
I may be wrong but I doubt it.
