New Rossi F2B Motor Pictures
« on: July 02, 2007, 02:22:19 AM »
Some time ago, I mentioned to the local flyers here in Socal that, I was working with Sahak Goukasian, the North American importer of Rossi Motors on a new F2B motor. I sent him the specifications and an Autocad engineering drawing, in addition to some recommendations for various other parts. Today, he sent me some pictures of the preliminery results.

It is still early yet, but for various reasons, I think the Rossi F2B motor may have some very serious potential.

 Proparc;

   I realize you said it is early yet, but do you have any other info on this engine, ie is it ABC etc. And maybe a "Ballpark" figure of how much.

Milton:

What's it gonna weigh?  And is side exhaust the only way it'll be offered?  Rear exhaust, piped or not, is really clean.

I heard you jammed wit' Albert King once . . . what was THAT like? God, I love the Blues.

Holy Smokes lol - let me take this one by one. Side exhaust is the only way it will be offered and there are issues related to that as well. I just emailed Sahak and we are discussing the testing. There is a lot involved in this,(product development).  One of the good things involved in this project is that, it has showed me just how much we actually know about our sport and how application specific it is from an engineering standpoint.
Also, whether it is Bob Zambelli doing engineering work for John Brodak, or myself doing product development with Sahak, they need to listen. No matter how strong your background is in RC, stunt knowledge is what counts here!!!

Now for the last part. I did not jam with Albert King, we talked for quite a while outside of a club in San Francisco. I played at a club a couple of times in Santa Monica. I have had offers to turn pro and record but, you guessed it, my stunt comes first;that is just the way it is.
