Hi Paul, that's one pretty ship! It does show the influence of Big Jim if I'm not mistaken! Which LA is up front? Has it been reworked or is it stock? Have you flown it as yet and what are the particulars about that aspect? Such as line length, prop of which engine, any changes to the original Sea Hurricane kit?

Please give my regards to Jim and Mamma Jo!

PS I am off blood thinner meds and my new heart valve is running quite well in fact I feel 10 years younger! Modern medicine AMAZING!

Yes Jim Lynch showed me how to do the weathering using pastel chalk. He is also building one and we made  stencils to try and match the camo. Don and Bryon are building two more so we will have a  squadron.
It's a Brodak kit and the engine is reworked by Randy Smith.
TT prop 11.4x4.5.
Hope to fly it tomorrow and will report back.

Will tell Jim and Momma-Jo you said howdy.

Glad your doing better - Mr Fun  ambassador 😊

Thanks guys

Flight report:

3 flights.
🔘First flight launched at 9800. Checked for level wings. Was a little fast.
🔘Second flight launched at 9760. Still a little fast.
🔘Third flight launched at 9650. Speed felt better. Did a few insides and turned it upside down.

I am happy so far. It might need a small flap tweak and then we just need to get to know one another a little better.
Next time out we will start making shapes. 😋

Thanks ZMan! I will be flying the kids and demos this weekend, don't think I will make the next one. We are going down to play with the hurricanes. Give me a call sometime.

Are you changing the needle or the prop to change your speed?

We are still looking for the "Happy Place" for the engine / Prop combo. The engine seemed to unload once in the air and was running on the lean side. I like it with a little wet sound with crackle of a two cycle.  🙃

Might have to go to longer lines. Still working with it.

Gorgeous Paul!  Great job on the exhaust stacks and I like the way you blended the inside fuse doubler.

Thanks Steve.
They are painted with modeling paints. Silver and then rust on top. Then dusted on some pastel chalks, gray and black.

Hey Trax might have to give it a try. Only problem is I will have to find a three blade spinner that would fit. 🙃
